Alastair Lindsay, an award-winning Sound Designer and Composer, who studied at the Cleveland College of Art and the Dewsbury & Batley College of Art & Design and holds a Diploma in Music from the Open University is currently Head of Audio at Cord Worldwide which creates music that connects global brands to their audiences. They are a team of creators, artists, producers and supervisors with offices in London, Madrid and Warsaw. They say they are a little different and they like it that way. Before joining Cord, Alastair spent 13 years at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, starting at the position of Senior Sound Designer and Composer and working his way up to Head of Audio. Previous to this he had over ten years’ experience in working professionally in Sound Design and Composition including 5 years at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

Alastair is passionate about interactive media with a deep understanding of video games and how they are produced, from a number of different genres, social, cinematic to AR/VR games.  

And joining Alastair is Justin Andree who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology from Staffordshire University is Senior Music Supervisor at Cord Worldwide. Justin has worked most of his career in the music industry including holding the position of Producer and Music Supervisor at Adelphoi Music. He has also had experience at Apply and Getty Images. As a Music Supervisor for Video Games and TV he is forever searching for interesting music and talented folk to work and collaborate with. He is an avid gamer, animal gif expressionist and claims doesn't always talk in third person.

We decided that just conversation on podcasts was lacking atmosphere, so we have written and recorded unique music for each conversation. The players on this episode are Joe Schirl on bass guitar and Peter Mayerhofer on hand pan.
